A lot of French families came during the 1820-1850th
from French Alsace to Ohio. They lived in the south of the French
department of the "Haut-Rhin" ( now of the "Territoire
de Belfort"). They came in Ohio and often settled in Stark
County and all around. (You can usefull go to "FirstFrenchFamiliesStarkCounty
Forum" in Yahoo Groups* and meet theirs descendants ).
Also, if you have French ancestors CHABOUDE,
